about us

This web site was created to facilitate collaboration about unjust laws in our country and unite Americans to stand against them. Our goal is to establish a group that can target specific legislation across the country, fight against injustice, and make our voices heard. The strength of the group lies in using the democratic processes available, speaking out and standing behind their convictions . A concentrated effort by the states will send a strong message to the federal government that it is time for a change. Our voices will be heard at the federal and state levels when we join together for justice and fair legislation.
We have chosen to target drunk driving laws first as it is a national epidemic of injustice that affects many citizens. There are numerous organizations fighting against these laws that do not stand together. We hope to bring these groups together to make our voices louder. The drunk driving campaign is a machine that has grown out of control and is now treading on our constitutional rights as Americans. It is time for us to take back control of our country.

mission

Our mission is to reform drunk driving laws to:

 1.   Remove arbitrary BAC levels from legislation to:
      a. promote legislation that focuses on driving impairment
      b. eliminate arrests that do not involve driving
      c. eliminate costly checkpoints 

2.   Decriminalize drunk driving charges in cases that do not involve harm to individuals, property or damage.
      a.  There are already laws in place to address traffic accidents that cause harm or damage.
      b.  Using administrative procedures in the DMV alleviates the strain on the criminal court system, incarceration facilities and social services. 
            i.   It also removes the double jeopardy automated procedure in place in many states which increases an administrative punishment once a
                criminal conviction is passed down without a new trial.
      c.  Efforts need to be focused on rehabilitation instead of jail and criminalization. 

3.   Remove the three strike rule.
      a. These laws cause a DUI, DWI, OWI, DWAI, DWI or similar charges/convictions to stay on a person’s record for a lifetime in some states, even
          bankruptcy goes away eventually.

Uniting to demand fair legislation for DUI, OWI, DWAI, and DWIs across the country will send a message to DOT and the states that we will not be
blackmailed any longer to pass unjust legislation for increased funding.
